Wendy Cox, Founder and President

Ms. Cox founded JW Fine Remodeling Corporation in 2004 on the principle that JW Fine operates with a goal of total customer satisfaction and value-focus before, during and after the sale. This principle is achieved when incorporated with leading-edge technology and products, business excellence and superior workmanship. This is but one of the beliefs she accentuates and requires from all of the team involved on every project. Another unique policy requires a signed and sealed “Certificate of Completion and Client Satisfaction” attached to a fulfilled “zero item” punch-list. When completed, this process qualifies as a complete and finished job, project or new home. This process is required before final billing is submitted to the client. An industry leading warranty begins after this is accomplished.

Ms. Cox has surrounded herself with an award winning and time-tested, in-house design and construction management team. Team members’ career experience range between 18-26 years of hands-on, design-build success while employed with some of America's top building firms. Ms. Cox is a second-generation industry professional who leads and guides her company with a top-down management style choosing to direct the team and business. Wendy establishes future corporate growth initiatives and seeks opportunities for the acquisition of land, financing, and key personnel.

The single greatest influence on her work ethic stems from family businesses and interest. Those operations included a commercial/residential and industrial electrical contracting business and appliance distribution centers.

Ms. Cox earned her degrees with honors from the East Carolina University School of Business with a Masters in Business and a major in Information Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Decision Sciences BSBA, with a concentration in Management Information Systems.
